On Sunday, October 20th at 10:20pm, writer, Marcus Nicholas Almand transitioned and earned his wings. From above, I know he's smiling and appreciating all of the beautiful messages, photos, and art that you have sent his way. Thank you for all of the prayers and support that you have given. I know it meant the world to him and his family. May he be free from the pain and suffering that cancer has caused him. Throughout the last month he was in the hospital, he had a great deal of pain but that didn't keep him from having a sense of humor. He will be missed. Please help us keep his spirit alive by continuing to keep his writing vibrant and alive too.

I hope he's picked someone to continue his work. Hopefully, someone with just as much talent.

... whoa. This was unexpected. My condolences to the family (even though it's about two months later...)

Damn. I talked with him sometimes & I liked his character, The Razor kid, and even did an Art Trade for him (which I didn't get a trade back :hmm:) and hoping for more art in the future.

Sucks that someone with a popular character can die unexpectedly without any knowledge in the news section.

Perhaps that one day, his OC can have a comeback & a justified fan base. :salute:

My condolences to Nick's family and loved ones. I was afraid something had happened when I had stopped hearing from him. He helped me so much when I had been going through a really bad time, he was one of the only people I felt I could still talk with. It's hard to believe we won't be able to talk any more. I will miss you Nick. Thank you so much for everything.
